Haley Lowder, D.E. alumna originally from Albemarle, NC, has trained in numerous Professional Training Programs in an array of styles throughout her years as a student of dance. Moving to Cary, NC at age ten she is the youngest ever to train in the Cary Ballet Conservatory PTP. She has completed eight years of full-time dance training in classical ballet, contemporary, partnering, and jazz, as well as one year at the exclusive Elite Classical Coaching PTP in Dallas, TX.

She has attended dance schools under prestigious companies, including New York City Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet, as well as having been hand-picked by the directors of The Rock School for Dance Education, Next Generation Ballet, The Dallas Conservatory, School of American Ballet Young Dancers Intensive and SAB New York; most, with scholarships. Additionally, she has trained at Steps on Broadway and Broadway Dance Center in New York City.

In addition to her dance career, Haley is a senior at UNC-Chapel Hill, completing her bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science, with plans to earn a graduate degree in physical therapy; allowing her to serve dancers in their strengthening, injury prevention, and injury-recovery needs. Haley is thrilled to share her experience and knowledge with students and to play a part in helping them become their best selves and dancers!
